With only six ingredients, these Baby Food Cookies are a fun and easy snack for your little one to enjoy. We used Sweet Potato Puree in our version, but any flavor will work! We love to keep a batch of these in the freezer and pop a cookie in the toaster oven if our little ones need a quick and nourishing snack. They’re perfect for on-the-go, too!

Ingredients:

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the Gerber® Grain & Grow Oatmeal Banana Cereal, baking powder, and spice until completely combined. Add the Gerber® Sweet Potato Puree, egg and vanilla extract, and stir until the mixture is evenly combined.
  3. Drop 1 tbsp portions of the cookie mixture onto the lined baking sheet and press down with the back of a spoon to flatten. Bake for 10-12 minutes, checking regularly to avoid burning. If the cookies still appear soft, cook them for another 2 minutes.
  4. Allow cookies to cool entirely on a wire rack. Make sure to cut the cookies to your little one’s age and stage before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2 days, or freeze for up to 2 weeks.
